Dr. Yara Abdelaty is a Lecturer in Language Education at Port Said University, Egypt. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of York, UK. Her research interests include second language writing, artificial intelligence in education, generative AI, computer-assisted language learning, assessment, and educational technology. She has published internationally and is actively involved in internationalisation, academic partnerships, research collaboration, and postgraduate supervision. Her work focuses on exploring innovative, technology-enhanced approaches to language education and strengthening international academic collaboration.
