The AI Innovation in Education Award recognises outstanding educational initiatives in which artificial intelligence has been originally designed, engineered, or substantively developed by the applicant to address a clearly defined educational challenge. This category celebrates initiatives in which AI is foundational to the project’s purpose and impact, rather than a supporting or contextual feature.

Eligible initiatives must demonstrate that the applicant has gone beyond the deployment or configuration of third-party AI tools and instead contributed substantive technical innovation, such as original system design, model development, or significant adaptation of existing frameworks to meet specific educational needs. Applicants should clearly articulate what was built, why the AI development was necessary, and how it enables educational outcomes that would not be achievable through existing solutions.

Initiatives may address a wide range of educational challenges at the learner, institutional, or system level. While pedagogical innovation may form part of the approach, the emphasis is on how artificial intelligence itself has been conceived, designed, and applied to create demonstrable educational value.

Once you have selected the appropriate category and pathway, please follow the steps below:

1. Select your category and pathway, then click “ENTER NOW.”
2. Register to create your account and complete all required questions. Please review the login requirements on the Awards entry system carefully. If you have applied at any time since 2022, please use your existing credentials to access your account.
3. After registering, you will receive an email containing a validation code. Enter this code to complete your registration. If you do not see the email, please check your junk or spam folder.
4. You must complete registration on the platform before you can begin your application.
5. You may save your progress at any time and return later by logging in via the “YOUR ACCOUNT” tab in the menu.
6. When you are ready to submit, agree to the Terms and Conditions and click the “COMPLETE” button at the bottom of the page.
7. If you forget your password, please use the password reset option on the login page.
