The Sustainability Education Action Award recognises educational institutions, organisations, or partnerships that have moved sustainability from principle to practice through real-world implementation. This category celebrates initiatives in which sustainability education directly informs, enables, or drives applied action, resulting in demonstrable environmental, social, economic, governance, or systems-level outcomes.

Eligible initiatives may include campus-based programmes, community or industry partnerships, institutional transformation efforts, applied learning models, or policy-linked initiatives that show clear evidence of implementation, sustained engagement, and measurable impact.

Projects may address climate action and resilience, such as decarbonisation initiatives, climate adaptation strategies, or applied climate solutions developed through education, alongside broader sustainability actions including social equity initiatives, circular economy practices, biodiversity protection, ethical governance, and sustainable development. Projects may include learning, awareness, or curriculum-based elements, however, applicants should select this category where the primary emphasis is on applied action and implementation, demonstrating how sustainability education has been translated into meaningful change beyond the classroom.

If an initiative intentionally combines sustainability learning and action, applicants should select the category that best reflects its primary purpose and outcomes.

Once you have selected the appropriate category and pathway, please follow the steps below:

1. Select your category and pathway if applicable, then click “ENTER NOW.”
2. Register to create your account and complete all required questions. Please review the login requirements on the Awards entry system carefully. If you have applied at any time since 2022, please use your existing credentials to access your account.
3. After registering, you will receive an email containing a validation code. Enter this code to complete your registration. If you do not see the email, please check your junk or spam folder.
4. You must complete registration on the platform before you can begin your application.
5. You may save your progress at any time and return later by logging in via the “YOUR ACCOUNT” tab in the menu.
6. When you are ready to submit, agree to the Terms and Conditions and click the “COMPLETE” button at the bottom of the page.
7. If you forget your password, please use the password reset option on the login page.
