He believes that the use of technology especially in education is inevitable and that it is no longer a mere option, nor a luxury, but a necessity.

Head - Centre for Open and Digital Education
Hindustan institute of Tachnology and Science

Way back in 2001, after being accidentally introduced to the internet, I dreamt of teaching children from various countries.

No one ever believed way back in 2001 that teaching virtually could be a reality.

But see now everyone talks of virtual classes, hybrid classes, so the dream has become real. Pre-pandemic it was still restricted to teaching to US and UK students, but thanks to the pandemic, the entire world teaches virtually.

If I talk about my journey toward this dream of creating one big global classroom, where there are boundaries of caste, color, geography, and time. Anyone can learn anytime from experts located anywhere in the world, it started when I joined the noble profession of teaching. I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment I spent with my students. I have seen some challenging students, and some very interested students, but I have equally enjoyed teaching them all.

Like every one of us, I also had that mid-life crisis around 2000, and that is when this idea of teaching online came to my mind. But I started teaching online around 2005 and have never looked back since then. During these 18 years in the industry, I have worked in different roles. I have been an online teacher helping students with Math Concepts to regular students and also to the gifted students, I have been a Project Manager for the development of e-text books for schools in the state of West Virginia across all subjects and all grades. I designed a Learning Management System way back in 2005 – 06 when no one actually knew what is an LMS.

My journey of 18 years has been absolutely thrilling, challenging but enjoyable to the core. These years have made me learn something from everyone I have touched, and am still learning.

My strength lies in my excellent communication skills, Being a team player, I am empathetic towards the needs of others. I am a strategic planner, who excels in planning new things, and who is always in to try new things and new pedagogic approaches to make things simpler for the students. My motto is making learning fun and enjoyable.

I firmly believe that you are as young as 18 if you are learning at 80 but you are as old as 80 if you stop learning at 18.

In short, I am a life-long learner.

In his early career, he worked as a graphic designer. Later, he became an entrepreneur at Talentbank, where his team, referred to as "Bankers," now assists hundreds of global corporations with their recruitment and employer branding requirements.

Entrepreneurship, at its core, is a synthesis of vision, unwavering determination, and profound passion. It's this triad that has propelled his journey, shaping Talentbank into an impactful institution that has positively influenced over a million graduates.

His mission? To ensure that the exuberance and anticipation of that first day on a job are preceded by thorough preparation and a solid foundation. To this end, he has meticulously constructed an extensive employability network, bringing higher education institutions under one collaborative umbrella.

Talentbank is more than just a business; it's a dynamic ecosystem. This interconnected network seamlessly brings together universities, employers, associations, and student groups.

His commitment to enhancing employability has garnered attention – it's an honor to be recognized as the "Mover & Shaker of Better Employability for the Nation." With his LinkedIn profile now boasting over 19,000 followers, he's excited to share the collaboration with more than 100 universities in Malaysia.

But Talentbank is just one chapter of his broader narrative. He also spearheads the Graduates' Choice Award, providing students with a handpicked list of premier employers.

During the MCO, he was entrusted with a role in Malaysia's "National Employment Council."

Achievements like the Outstanding Alumni Award and recognition from Tun Dr. Mahathir, Malaysia's former Prime Minister, are not merely accolades. They serve as endorsements and constant reminders of his duty to magnify his influence on graduate employability.

His horizon is vast. As they turn the pages, his ambition is to assemble a formidable ensemble of company subsidiaries, specializing in areas like book publishing, recruitment, education, and training. If you resonate with his ethos and have the expertise he seeks, come aboard. Together, you can script the next chapter in the saga of employability.

For those who see potential investment avenues in his ambitious ASEAN expansion, let's explore synergies. Your passion could be the catalyst for his next leap.
